Peer-Guided Study Group Leaders

Peer-guided study group leaders meet weekly with the same small group of students to help them review and refine their understanding of key concepts in a particular course, collaboratively work through practice problems, and prepare effectively for quizzes and exams. The Â鶹Éç runs in science, math, engineering, and social science courses. 

Study Group facilitators need to Â鶹Éç done well in the associated course (although an A is not necessary), Â鶹Éç outstanding interpersonal skills, and care about helping other students.

Mentored Study Program Leaders

The Mentored Study Program (MSP) supports students who may be finding the course especially challenging. Group size is generally kept small to support more individualized attention from the leader. Peer Leaders meet weekly with students to help clarify student questions, support students in reviewing and refining their understanding of key concepts, collaboratively work through practice problems, prepare for quizzes and exams, and discuss effective study strategies in a highly inclusive environment. The Â鶹Éç runs in select science, math, engineering, and social science courses.

Study Group leaders need to Â鶹Éç done well in the associated course (although an A is not necessary), Â鶹Éç outstanding interpersonal skills, and care about helping other students.

Drop-in Peer Tutors

Drop-in peer tutors staff Sunday and weeknight drop-in sessions to provide group and one-on-one help to students enrolled in particular courses. Runs in social science, science, engineering, and mathematics courses.
